👤 Who We Are

Gybe Digital LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("Gybe Digital," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the websites at gybedigital.co and tacktiq.com (the "Sites") and is the data controller for personal information collected through them. 📋 Information We Collect

• Waitlist email: If you submit your email address to join the Tacktiq waitlist, we collect that email address (and the time you signed up).
• Messages you send us: If you email us or use a contact link, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
• Basic technical data: Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard request information — such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the referring page — to keep the Sites secure and reliable.

We do not collect sailing session data, GPS tracks, or app account details through the Sites — that information is handled only in the Tacktiq app and is covered by the Tacktiq app Privacy Policy.

🎯 How We Use It

• To notify you about the Tacktiq launch and related product updates, if you joined the waitlist
• To respond to messages and enquiries you send us
• To operate, secure, and improve the Sites using aggregate technical data

🍪 Cookies

Our Sites use only the essential cookies or local storage needed for them to function. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy to describe it.

🤝 Service Providers

We use a small number of providers to run the Sites:

• Supabase: Stores waitlist sign-ups. See the Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Our web hosting provider: Serves the Sites and may process basic server logs on our behalf.

These providers process data only to provide their service to us, not for their own marketing.

🔄 Retention

We keep waitlist emails until the launch communications are complete or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and our records. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

🔐 Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. For waitlist emails, our lawful basis under the EU/UK GDPR is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; for security logging it is our legitimate interests in keeping the Sites safe. To exercise any right, or to unsubscribe from the waitlist, email support@gybedigital.co.

👶 Children

The Sites are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Sites after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
